Hello
I'm trying to determine at what point in my service history with a particular Dodge dealer my transmission was removed from my engine. The re-assembly of the transmission resulted in a failure of the torque converter causing severe damage due to bolts falling out of the converter/fly wheel<?>
It's my understanding that to replace the rear-main seal (oil leak), the transmission must be removed, but upon inspection of the work-order that I thought was my smoking gun, I'm not seeing any smoke. Can someone look at this and tell me if they would have removed the bell-housing from the engine to accomplish? I honestly do not even see a rear main seal being replaced, even though this was on the workorder...
