Hello all , I just installed In-Channel Vent visor P/N 194101 on my 2014 Ram Q.C.
From Lund international.
This review is only on quality of product and installation .
I'll post up more info once I've had a chance to drive with them a bit .
Quality is as solid as you'd ever want on a vent visor ! 10 out of 10 imo .
I purchased from AutoAnything | Auto Accessories & Aftermarket Parts | Truck Accessories & Car Accessories - Floor Mats, Tonneau Covers & Car Covers
Co$t with shipping for me $69.99
I've read they can be found cheeper elsewhere ...
Packaging was great , shipping was fast and the kit includes " good" not great install instructions.
Kit includes all you need : small scotch Brite pad , alcohol pads and the visors with the 3M tape preapplied .
My advice = just follow the instructions included with the kit and pay close attention to my first picture , which shows how to install the front of the driver / passenger windows visor .
It goes between the mirrors plastic base and the rubber seal , the rest of the visors front and back actually go inside the window channel .
Several pics below , enjoy ....
Make sure you clean the felt really good and allow time for drying , or just blow it dry with shop air as I did , if available.
Like the instructions say peel off the front & backside tape cover a few inches , get everything in place and seated , then pull the tags off while the visor is in place , finally roll up the windows and keep them up for approximately 24 hrs.
☆☆☆☆☆EDIT ☆☆☆☆☆
I did have to hold the visors tightly in place on both the front & back to get the windows up all the way initially , but after a hot day with them up all is well !
Go Hogs ! S.E.C.RULES ! Go Hogs !
Hope this helps !
