People are losing their minds over this exhaust note. Me? I did the video and heard it in person. It’s just like the EcoBoost V6 imo. Not a V8 exhaust note, but not a lawnmower either or a fart can like some people are saying.

Not going to sound like an EcoBoost or a V8.

Because it is an inline 6, obviously.

I don't have an RHO but I do have an SO Hurricane in a Wagoneer. It has a pleasant rumble at idle and then quietly goes about doing its real job as does the 6.4 in my 2500.

ETA: I posted that without watching the video.
LOL, that sounds like schist, terrible.

Fart can Civic terrible.

I remember the "fart" cans from the old days. They sounded like a weed eater, IMHO.
What really struck me was why anyone would want to lower a low car. THE silliest on I ever saw was a lowered Pontiac Fiero with wheels offset out about 4 inches. (What What!?) It was painted custom purple and had a stainless steel rocker accent with "Sweet'N Low" etched out on both sides!

How can you un-see that!?

Sounds gross!

Why can't they just give us a choice? I don't want a six cylinder, I don't want a hybrid...

Probably have the last RAM I will ever own now. Bummer!

This thread reminds me of the grousing that older men did when cars first became front wheel drive, and later, computer controlled.
All of the old codgers back then were "going to keep their 1969 _____________mobile forever."
Methinks they forgot about rust and obsolescence. I wonder if there is a sale on Mopeds! ;)

Depends on the popularity obviously, but you can start with a radiator cap and build a complete square body Chevy around it even if you lose the radiator cap. There's no part that's not readily available OEM or aftermarket, assuming your bank account can handle it.

That was one of the downfalls of owning an IHC Scout. They just weren't popular enough to have that decades long continued support. Today's vehicles won't have it either, too many specific modules and electronics that are too low demand/low profit for the aftermarket.

Sounds gross!

They did! Ram said you can now choose Ford or Chevrolet for your V8.:boti:Or move to a 3/4 ton.

Slap some stickers on the side, a gull wing on the back, a nissan badge on the front and you got yourself a first class ride for the Fast and Furious.
