Lizzy Musi was not just a racer; she was an icon, an inspiration, and a trailblazer in the male-dominated world of street racing. Born into a family with deep roots in drag racing, Lizzy inherited the passion and skills that would propel her to fame. Her father, Pat Musi, was a renowned engine builder and drag racer, and it was clear from a young age that Lizzy was destined to follow in his footsteps.

Known for her competitive spirit and never-give-up attitude, Lizzy faced off against some of the best in the business, consistently proving her mettle on the track.
Off the track, Lizzy was a beacon of positivity and resilience. Her battle with breast cancer was no different. She will always be remembered as one of the greats in racing and as an incredible daughter, sister, and friend.”

Waaaay too young.....

It seems that breast cancer is more and more common, I have a co-worker who just lost her niece to it, she was 32.

Grrr, cancer sucks. **** cancer.

Cancer is a thief... it steals time.

Husband recently found out he has an aggressive prostate cancer. Waiting on PET scan to see if it's spread. He's only 55.

Just to add a little humor, excuse me while I go check my boobs.

That's what got my FIL, he had radiation and radioactive seeds about 15 years ago, and his PSA was 0 for a long time, then about 5 years ago it started climbing, the cancer had spread to his bones, he passed in Feb.
Just to add a little humor, excuse me while I go check my boobs.

I have heard of men getting breast cancer as well, I believe Peter Criss of KISS had it.

It sucks, for sure.

If caught in time as long as the cancer is contained in the prostate, they can do a radical proctectomy (remove the whole prostate) I had mine out at that age to this day cancer free.
