What type & brand do you have? I have two little ones so I'm leaning towards running boards. It seems like they have more stepable surface.

Amp Powersteps. Wide with great traction, and they hide away when you don’t need them.

Ebay nerf bars

Just got these off Ebay for 160, I had the oem boards but I like these better (for looks) personal preference. But I will say the oem running boards definately alot easier to use and step on.
Both styles to compare 4484d22b006328241cc88766ec5de104.jpg6676b1bef7a9fa75a9dc52ca179fd670.jpg375be9077bc8738c8bb2dc1b6a6098dc.jpga09659943fa3a1054c25a2b5da553c41.jpg

I got my Chrome Mopar running boards from Jegs today. The shipping box had holes in it. The hardware was missing and there were scratches in the driver side board. So much for saving money. They are getting shipped back. Hope it works

I went with the rough country hd2. I like them and price was right. They have some adjustment and are pretty solid. Protect bottom side of cab from debris very well.

Couple of things I don't like
1. Because they are solid and have a back, snow/slush just sit on top of them. Constantly cleaning them. Minor annoyances.

2. After 1 winter they have started to rust in spots which I feel is very premature. May line-x then this summer depending on price. a8087e273216e052f60c04d77c1bae6b.jpg

I just ordered a pair of the AMPs for my 2500. I have little kids and a short wife and she often has a hard time loading them in when we drive my truck. I was looking at the AMPs for a while since I plan on lifting the truck eventually too. I currently have whatever came stock on my 2015 Laramie and sometimes would slip off them while getting out in the rain. After the most recent slip I've decided enoughs enough and started shopping around. Ended up ordering from Nick@GotExhaust this morning to be exact. I'm hoping to install them next week (depending on when they show up). I'll report back with some pictures once they are on the truck.
