was thinking a hbs kit with 7100's all the way around. That might change once I get to my first duty station though. Might just go for the Carli 3'' kit.

well this is old but, I did change the oil as that is the only recent "mod" I have done. was about a $200 dollar affair. got the kit from genos for 4 oil filters and 2 fuels.

gotta love diesel oil, looked the same as when I took it out after 5 minuets of running it.

haha thanks, the quad is definitely one fun toy. its hard to decide where to spend mod money but I need new sprockets for the kawi. gearing is to high on dirt and to low on sand with the paddle tires. I probably have more money in the quad then the truck including cost. definitely more time. It is one fun and easy engine to work on.

Since I got laid off from work I havent had much mod money so I have been doing a lot of off roading with the freakishly warm weather we have been having. and luckily for me there is a nice place right behind the AFB that has some good mud pits and a small mx track for the atv.

The girl was no happy when I made her get out of the truck to take pictures for me.:roflsquared:

she did a pretty good job:

and my favorite picture of the truck
-7E23-45D0-A2AF-12A8FADE4361-1354-000000AA6335654F.jpg

then later that night, a friend of ours shows up with a jeep and decides to get a little gnarly. there stream that runs through the middle of the field when there is heavy snowmelt or rain. it was dry but it ran the dirt down pretty nice and is pretty deep. well his jeep made it through but I burried my back bumper in the ground. :emotions122:

-C747-4484-BE55-AE1CA1067917-3258-0000018C2F4D9BB1.jpg

at least it was a crhysler product that pulled me out?

then later in the week I decided to take the quad out for a ride, wasnt going to get the truck dirty. I even went out by myself so no wayI am going to try something and get stuck by myself.

quad pics:

but of course I found these mud holes that I never knew where there. I decided I would try em out. I couldnt pass it up with snow coming later that night and the weather dropping drastically. Now I chose the most ***** hole out of all of them. the smallest most shallow one. here was the out come:

I still get stuck!! :emotions122:

The only thing I can think of is that I went in way to slow. next time I will show it whose boss!

So I had to call everyone I knew of with a truck and no one was free as it was around 1 pm. luckily my girlfriend just got out of class and I decided it was worth a shot. she drives a jeep with a 4.7 in it. but it has a steelers sticker so that adds a lot of HP. haha

luckily she got me out and then it started dumping snow as I was loading up the quad.

Went out to a bonfire on friday night and was cruising under the power lines, when the mitsubishi in front me runs over a boulder and cuts a gas line, and then one of the guys we were with shreds his tire.

saturday morning I decided to clean the truck, took about 4 hours. vacuumed the inside, washed the outside/undercarriage, waxed, shined the trim, tires, and wheels.

and the only "mod" I have done lately.....drumroll please...

Thanks fellas I really appreciate it. Just about every penny I had went into this thing.

Just ordered a cb, mainly to communicate when off roading. Got a cobra 29 lx with a 3' ft fire stick antenna. A little nervous about where to run the wire but we will see how it goes.

Got the cb all hooked up, just have it sitting in the middle seat til I find a permanent spot. but it works great. went off roading friday and it was awesome to talk on the cb when I had to pull someone out instead of shouting out the window.

Yep. Looks down to the metal in some spots. I'm probably going to get a paint pen from Chrysler and see how that works

Damn man that sucks so much, I'm sorry. They were probably jealous of the truck. Hopefully that paint pen will fix it.

Really don't have money for a paint job. And I had one planned because the paint wasn't perfect but that was awhile down the road.

Well I guess on the bright side, at least now you have more justification for getting the paint done when you do have enough saved up.

Is it a really long scratch? Or just deep?
