yeah, lol. i got alot going on, but about the box, basically it is a full custom box. we cut up the storage bin, right at the divider and built a box that fits snugly, and i do mean snug. wait until yours gets in, than build it around the box. we cut one storage area out to fit the box, but i am sure you can see that. i don't have the dimensions written down, but they are pretty much the exact same as the inside of that cubby set up. i can take some measurements at some point if you really want, but the thing about my truck, is nothing that was stock that i can change will remain stock. i had my buddy make the box, and he is a professional, he even said it was a royal PITA to make, the whole thing is glassed, made to fit perfectly, than covered. but he got it perfect, you can't even tell its there until you lift the seat.

in other news, i am hoping to bring my truck in to get driveshafts made monday. as long as monday is a short day at work, i will be able to. i'll get it on the trailer this weekend. than after that, i need to get the collar welded up front to take away the center axle disconnect because of my 271 not being designed to work with one. but idk if that will happen next week, supposed to go out of town tuesday...we will see. but its ready to start going to shops to get the job finished!

also, might be trading my old 241 for a 600 watt alpine mono block to use for my sub tomorrow. we shall see. that'll make my sub kick so much more...lol.

Ahh ok . Well when I get mine I was going to actually put 2 boxes I was going to cut just as you did . I want my back seat back . Lol . I will build a full custom box when I arrives

got the drivelines yesterday, also i had my buddy lengthen my t-case shift linkage, and being the nice guy he is he even painted it for me...\



needless to say its been repainted since i got it....lol. hopefully get her driving this weekend, but i think i need to go get a different clutch master cylinder. the throw is different than a 2nd gen, so the one i have installed from a 3rd gen doesn't quite work right. the throw is off, and doesn't set off the neutral safety switch. so hopefully tomorow get her on the road again....

alright, i need to order in a 2nd gen master/***** cylinder. there is interference from the 3rd gen ***** cylinder lines and the tcase linkage. and on the master cylinder, well the geometry is off, but it bolts up. and the cap for the reservoir is... inaccessible...i'll get a couple pics soon, but thats that. so time to make a couple more purchases and the test drive gets put off a little bit longer...

Did you ever replace the powerpuck? The stock clutch in nv5600 don't like to hold much more the 40-60 hp over stock

Not yet. Im looking at a superchips flashpaq that the guy is asking $200 for but i think im gunna offer $150 and see what i can do. Also. There is an update on the truck. But im not saying anything until later tonight.....

been super busy lately guys, but i can safely say, with 150+ miles already on, the manual conversion is a success. because i swapped to a 271 away from the 241 i need to have the collar welded on my front axle, but that will happen late this week or early next week. going to vegas tuesday thru thursday this week so won't get alot done this week, but i will try to snap some pics tonight, if not this weekend. i do love having a manual again!

Lol yeah the grill looked better in my head, I still don't really like it that much, but it gets blocked mostly from my bumper now anyways

I think that grill looks terrible. But everything else looks good.

I honestly want a different grill but I don't want stock, don't want to spend $500+ on a grill for a custom one and really like third gen front clips. So i think once David leaves town I might find out how close his fenders are to mine and see if I can mount them up.....

I got my grill off of eBay from e-Autogrills, and then had it painted at a local body shop. I ended up having less than $300 invested
