Scrap yard picking day

Hi

While rummaging through a scrap yard for a black tail gate handle I came across this on a 2006 Dodge ram 1500:



$50 later I had tow hooks, replacement tailgate handle, door reflectors, and a set of rear door molding.

Good picking day.

In my excitement I should’ve inquired if these things are worth it.

I’m used to front shackles.

I would hate for a tow rope to slip off one of the hooks.

Hook the rope around 1 then make a loop across to the other side ending with a slip knot over the the looped side

That's an awesome picking day
My best find was the center console lid on a truck they were just pulling on the yard. Got it for 8 bucks
