I'm changing out my spark plugs this weekend and also plan on cleaning the throttle body. I plan on putting a can of Seafoam in the gas tank.

If I'm changing my plugs, do I need to do the Seafoam treatment via the brake booster line?

NO! I've never done it EVER, and I've never had any issues.

My problem with doing that is that there's NO lubricity to Seafoam and pouring it directly into my intake plenum seems a little nuts. I know that in the case of my G8 which has the L76 engine (LS2 block, LS3 heads and plenum) that it literally goes right into the back of the intake plenum, so I'd basically be pouring it into it and IMO, most of it would go right into the back two cylinders. I for one am not a believer of pouring it in. I believe they make and sell and system that fits onto the T/B and sprays it in. Personally, using the type that attach to the fuel rails makes more sense to me. It then cleans both the injectors AND the upper cylinder area.
