I own a 2011 RAM 2500 Diesel. Occasionally on the highway if I hit a Bump in the road just right it triggers an almost uncontrollable shaking of the front of the vehicle. The only way I've found to stop it is a rapid deceleration of the vehicle, which is a problem at highway speeds in rush hour. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal?

Sounds like the "death shake"!!! Search on it and you'll find info.

first thing to try is out of balance tires, then start looking for loose components in the front end steering, on the older cherokee's it often happened with a loose trac bar but we dont have those i think on an IFS front setup.

Death wobble is something that many have had trouble getting rid of on the cherokee and some spent a lot of money and never were able to get rid of

Ok truck went to dealer. They are installing some kind of transmission bracket and stabilizer arms? Will know more later once picked up. Sounds like they knew exactly how to fix it. We will see if it works.
