Shift knob auto park

So I shut down my truck before putting it in park and it Auto Parked. I have a decal on it and now it is crooked. Will it eventually reset to the default position?

Interesting, I had a decal on mine and it mysteriously shifted position. I was trying to figure out how the hell it could happen. I'm guessing that the same thing happened to me, I just didn't realize it was due to the auto park feature. I peeled the sticker off and put it back on the way I wanted it. I doubt it will ever reset.

Will not reset, but will auto park again so line it up and then open the door.
