Hey has anyone replaced their shocks on late model quad 4x4 to get a smoother ride? Any negative effects..just a daily driver, no tow, low loads..thanks

If your shock are stock/low mileage, you have a 1500 and its not soft squishy/mushy ride to you there is not much to be done honestly.

You will be spending alot of money on high end shocks to get a softer rider as they will be designed to rip around offroad. I.E. soft on the small stuff and tighten up on the big stuff.

I hated the stock springs/shocks on my truck, it was a wallowing floating ride. I upgraded everything and it rides like a 1500, lots of control and feels planted on the road.

Additionally, are you running stock tires/tire pressure?
You may find the ride improves with different tires (I.E. Michelin defenders come to mind), just an option.
