So the other day my Dad tells me that his passenger side mirror fell out of the housing. 2019 Ram 1500 Classic regular cab. I have photos of the broken piece that seems to be all that needs to be replaced. It's the ball stud that clips on to the glass via a plastic plate that holds it in place. It has 3 prongs on it which appear to have a twist lock built into them. One of the prongs appears to have broken off.

Any help finding a part number and sources for this piece would be greatly appreciated. Again, the tip of the ball stud is what broke.

if those are the OEM mirrors than came stock
you can walk into the Dodge dealership Parts Department & get the part

If you have the VIN # the broken parts, they will be sure to get the correct part
There are several different mirrors for every year Ram

Thanks for the reply, the reason I have posted here looking for help is because the dealership wants to sell a complete mirror assembly.

I have a 2019 Limited and my driver side mirror frame is loose.Seems this is a normal problem but waiting for a recall, not paying that much to fix it and I don't know how to myself. For now, I have foam pieces wedged in between it.

The Parts Dept. has the mirror glass
the service dept is there to Upsell you, they will always tell you that you need a complete mirror & it is not needed

the side mirrors can be disassembled down to basic parts

I have called the parts department of the local dealership with the VIN, they want to sell the entire mirror assembly. I've also called RAM who said to go on Mopar.com to get on their chat help line. Well, that's a bust as well since their website just keeps telling me "You look lost. Let's get you back on the right road." everytime I click on the repair parts link.

I just thought that surely someone here might have an idea of who is actually producing these mirror assemblies because that company might sell us the actual broken piece which is shown above in my original post. I know that there are a ton of Mopar parts gurus online and I figured plenty of them were here. If we are not able to get a replacement piece we may just epoxy the thing back into place. Not our preference but it is an option considering the alternative.
