Well time has come. Made the decision to sell my faithful 2011 Ram 1500 crew cab sport.

She cleaned up well for an old girl that might have been ridden hard and put up wet a few times. But she's solid as a rock, no issues every thing works, no rust and a redline lubed engine, transmission and front and rear diffs.

Replacement due to arrive hopefully in July. A 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4 door, 6 speed manual with the v6. Already ordered and in D status .

Difficult decision but wife wants a stick before they stop making them. Gives me more time to focus on my other project

My advice, no need to sell truck just to get a new Wrangler. I gave my 1996 2500 to my nephew when I got my 2021, just so it stays in the family and will be well looked after. He is a car nut like me. That said, with current used prices, there never has been a better time to sell. Best of luck.

When you get the death wobble with that heap, and you will, get a super beefy adjustable tracbar for that front end. I had to let my heap go when I couldnt even get up to 35 mph in a windstorm, I traded it the next day on the ram. I do highly recommend arb front bumper, best bumper ever and safari straps are good too.

The hard top goes right over safari straps. The straps make the jeep more secure then a soft top but allows for that cool jeep open air feeling without being so exposed.

I still have my 14 and 16 rams, my 15 durango RT and the new jeep. Since the wife will be driving the jeep, not certain I'll ever need to worry about a death wobble, I mean what's the worst that could happen? However the jeep was less expensive than the G550 and has the same square look. I think I came out on the winning side. Considering the prices of a jeep vs a G wagon
