I owned my 2015 for 3 years before it got wrecked in an accident. In that time I just did oil changes and bought new tires. Worst repair was replacing a dead rear taillight bulb. Hoping for the same results with my new rig.

I really am amazed at how many problems guys have with these expensive new trucks !

Outside of recalls both my trucks have been free of issues except for a random door locking issue on my 2013. Put 300K miles on my 2003 Tahoe trouble-free outside of wear items.

I think the issues are minimal but get a lot of attention because of social media.

The original price on my 2012 was $55,850 so not far off -add the HST + other taxes and your way over 60 grand.

I paid $34,700 for my 2018 new, guess I got a good deal. MSRP was a little over $49,000

mu 2016 last week paid $27,800 plus T@L, original msrp was $48,600. am grateful for the 1st owner paying the depreciation.
new vehicles have so many gadgets compared to years ago that it is amazing they are as dependable as they are.

As long as there is no catastrophic break down or very expensive repair I’ll call it a win. Still got a ways to go so we shall see how she holds up.

I will say though, fellow ram owners on here are amongst the nicest, coolest and laid back forum members I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with and I truly enjoy the forum and posts. Jeep forum members are great too.

I agree. When I hear people say they are "having a lot of issues with their vehicles" I find it very subjective.

1. The more bells and whistles you have, the more stuff there is to break down.
2. One person's DIY repair might be a trip to the garage and $$$ for another.
3. Wear and tear items are designed to do just that: they wear out and break before the expensive things do. It's on the owner to stay on top of it.

My truck is 7 years old this month, and all it's gotten is regular preventative maintenance (probably more than the average Joe I will admit) and occasionally some dielectric grease on electrical connections to keep everything running smoothly.

If you ask my wife, she will probably tell you that my truck is in constant need of repair....but that's just because I like fixing ****.

I had a lot of issues with my previous F150 and none to speck of with the Rams. Having said that I'm sure there are loads of people with the the opposite situation to me. So I just drive and enjoy and if something happens deal with it because it doesn't matter what make and model sooner or later the luck of the draw will go against you.

Well, I did just read that Ram earned 3rd least reliable vehicle [emoji2369]. All of the top 10 were foreign manufacturers. 2nd place was Cadillac so that made me giggle a little lol. Just another reason why I dislike GM and it’s sub company crap.

All manufactures have issues and I’m not gonna sit here and lie and say I’ve had a great experience with my Ram. Fit and finish is not the greatest. Not built like they were for sure.

I doubt you’d get this on a Japanese car forum with a bunch of idiots talking about how to make they car fart louder.

Enjoy the forum and enjoy the Ram.

Tiped on ifone using Tapatalk and auto correct. Can’t you tell?
I wonder if the quality of the gas makes them fart louder? Lol
