So, window/3rd breaklight leak - anyone try using these inexpensive rear cab spoilers to stop it?

Please don't purchase this to stop the third brake light from leaking. Purchase this because you like it. Fix the third brake light leak with new seals/gaskets. ;)
I'm a little leery of removing the brake light - I removed the 4 screws and it won't budge or come out - I'm wondering if the previous owner glued it in or something. Are these really this tough to pop out?

The only way that will stop the leak is if it covers the gap between the window and body which it does not do. I'm currently dealing with the leak myself on my 21 BTS but I'm using the flowable window sealant from permatex that most others use as well. 1000012211.jpg

Anyone have any advice for removing the third brake light? Mine is very tight in there and resisting my attempts to pull it out after removing the 4 screws. I'm afraid of cracking or breaking it if I put too much pressure on it.

It’s being held in with the screws and clips. Give it a good steady even pull and it will come out. Mine was the same way when I first removed it. You can even try getting one side started then switch to the other side to get it started and just alternate after that until it free.

Thank you - I see these Youtube videos of people unscrewing the screws and it just pops right out, but this seems very resistant.
