Quick questions guys, yesterday I was driving around and randomly my speakers started cracking and popping on my dash. Even with the music on 20 it does it. My Audio settings are all set to the middle and the bit rate of the songs are all of high quality. Have any of you guys had this issue?

Like a bad connection? We're you plugged in through mp3? Bad cord or connection? Try wiggling the cord ends or when it's plugged into jack if so

probably a cord issue, i bluetooth, or load all my music on my radio so no cords for me, but i haven't had an issue with the factory alpine set-up

I am in a 2014 with the Alpine system and I only have that issue when I'm streaming Pandora off my cell phone. When I flip to XM or FM, I do not have that issue at all, so I'm imagining it has something to do with my bluetooth connection to the truck.

It's hard for me to tell if it's my phone or my truck as I run rooted ROMs on my Android and constantly have differing bluetooth connections than those on a stock Android phone. I may test with the wife's iPhone and stream Pandora thought hers to see if it's my phone's bluetooth that is causing the crackling. I'll post my findings once I have a chance to test with her phone.
