Hey gang! I was driving around in my field in 4L Sunday. When I headed back out to the road and 2H, I noticed the speedo was at 0.
I thought "well that's odd," and (parked) shifted back and forth between 2L, 4H, and 4L a few times, hoping that did the trick, but no dice.
Tach still works. Go figure.

A quick search suggests a sensor on the rear diffy might be the culprit?

Related question: 4WD reverse only seems to work in 4L. In 4H it's more like 2WD reverse. I noticed this while backing in tall grass. Normal?

Yep, Speed sensor in the diffy.

As for the 4x4 operation in reverse, I have no idea. I'd wager it's due to the change in direction.

Diffy still there.

I didn't see any obviously loose wires; guess I'll try replacing the sensor and see what happens.
