I have a 14 5.7 with 8 speed
I was up in the UP this weekend with the wife and I we were driving up to a light house on some sandy back roads. I rounded a bend in four wheel drive and accelerated, I heard a bang and stopped. My front shaft tore in half. I have been trying to find the shaft but all I can find is the one for the six speed. Any one have the stock part number. Also is this a common problem, this wall looks so thin it looks like a matter of time on these things. Is there a better upgrade?
