I have '13 Ram 1500 Exp. that only has a bit over 5k miles. At a steady speed, 25mph, 50 or whatever it goes into eco mode, it seems like it is hesitating/ sputtering (hard to describe) and when you step on the gas it seem to be a slow response to get it to get going. Has anyone else had/ have this? Fixes?

thanks

I had the same issue with my '11 Cherokee with the 5.7. Had to take back to the dealer for a updated reflash of the computer.

My 2011 did this and my 2013 does this as well. It is because MDS kicks in. Nothing wrong, it is just the design of the system. Takes a minute to get going because it is coming out of 4 cylinders to 8. I wish it didn't take as long as it does but it is what it is I guess...

I don't notice any sort of sputtering in my '13, nor did I in my '06 when coming out of MDS.

If you want to disable MDS downshift from drive. See if you see a difference.

I too have a '13 1500 and experience the same issue. I posted with reagerd to this a few weeks ago. It is annoying and I am not happy with it. Trying to go with some mods including a tune very soon. Not sure what else to do.
