Yes! Those are nice i want those. Especially those because I have a topper. Those slick enough to work.

What brand are they?

Quite affordable. Just a bit confused in options and inconsistencies. Flush vs low profile. Black chrome vs black nickel.

Yep have the exact same two pair - love them as well. couldnt understand why we only have lowers in the bed - seemed narrow minded for a pickup

How difficult was it to use a box cutter to remove the plastic? Any suggestions/advice?

If you've got a dremel with cut off for the rear and a small router with a flush trim bit it's super easy to do this without hassle.

As for the box cutter, you're cutting plastic. If you score first carefully and then follow up repeatedly and don't get in a rush, it will work just fine. Just don't try to go to deep all at once.

Been using them for 20 years. First put them on my 2000 Ford, they were actually branded as a Ford product, and the first day I had my Ram I went to local auto parts and bought bull rings with the black bezel. I didn't have to cut out anything on mine, apparently Tradesmans made in Mexico you can pop bull rings right in with no cutting. In fact I installed them in the parking lot after I bought them. Great products, and they've never failed, and I give them hard use hauling heavy appliances.
