I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Bighorn 5.7 hemi and just installed a new engine in her and put a new starter on and starter engages for a few seconds and tries to start but then dies out, then nothing but will wait a few minutes and it will do same, I checked and cleaned all grounds on block, heads, frame, body and added 1 ground on driver's side from head to body, what else could I check or do to for this issue!

seems fishy

Sorry that is for sure, frustrating.I know you did alot of work there, however the first obvious questions are more detail about battery, and just to clarify this is a brand new engine, and starter, not rebuilt,or used?

That sounds like the security part of the ignition is engaging and not allowing the truck to start.

I don't know what the process is to fix but that is where I would start based on the info you provided

When it cranks, does it crank fast or is it lethargic. A good charge might help, or a jump start.
