What is wrong with my 2012 will not start lights come on the dash turn it over and it clicks no starter action

Check your battery connections first. Make sure they are clean, with no corrosion, and on tight.

If that all looks good then move on to testing the battery at a local auto parts store. It may have enough power to light up that small load but maybe not enough to turn the engine over.

From there it's a matter of checking the circuit to ground and to the starter.

^^^what he said to start with!! Also, if the battery is over 4 years old I would just replace it as they generally don’t reliably last after 4 years. If you get to the part where Maddog suggested checking the starter, have someone try starting the truck as you hit it with a hammer. If that works, replace the starter.

Agree with above, bang on the starter. I have found that the stock batteries last 6 years plus. However, if you are running the original battery in a 2012 truck. I would expect that to be the issue.

The AGM batteries in these trucks die all of a sudden so like mentioned check the battery and connections.
