Steering Column Control Module (Cruise Control)

Anyone replace theirs to get their cruise control to work.

Looks like you have to take the wheel off, but a new one fixes the intermittent cruise control issue to where it won;t turn on.

I just now saw my half-assed post and am embarrassed.

I've had the intermittent problems with my cruise on/off button not working all the time. I read up on it and do the thing where you flick the button or karate chop the steering wheel, or even turn the key to 'on' for a few seconds before you start the truck. All of that works sometimes.

I was on the interstate and tried to flick the button, but hit the gear button instead and geared down at interstate speeds, then one time in traffic I hit the wheel on the side and almost swerved and hit an oncoming car. So this is getting dangerous and I just want it fixed.

I did get the recall done this past Summer, but that didn't fix the issue.
