What looks worse the steering gear or the tie rod ends.
The steering gear did wonders for my drive.
Slowly doing my front end suspension and it started with a new steering box.

Dat Cummins!
J, it sounds like you need to get that front end off the ground and go through everything with a fine tooth comb. If your tow and camber is moving...... you got some major issues going on.

Sorry for late reply lol I work nights. I'll get dome pics when the sun comes up. But I was thinking about replacing all the bushings with polyurethane bushings from summit and all new tie rods, steering box, ball joints and a fresh alignment along with one of those steering box supports but what's good brands to get? I'm tired of the off the shelf **** that last a year and gives. Oh and new shocks

I put a stock steering box on mine. Now I'm putting in Energy Suspension bushings everywhere. Tie rod ends are next.

Is this gonna be a DIY? If money and time are not a concern, and you have the ability take it all apart a one time and do it all at once.

You will definitely need an alignment.

If you have that much play in your steering, we won't need a pic. It's better to replace everything. Money permitting.
You have the right idea.
What brands to get is gonna be the problem. Lots of suppliers with different qualities.
You will love the results after your done.

good news!!!!! Finally!!!! I replaced my universal joints in the front. They were shot and raddling and tightened up all the clamps on steering linkages (all were REALLY lose) adjusted the tie rods to bring wheel's in straight. I bought new front skyjacker hydro 8000 shocks from Tennessee speed sport. The wheel has very little play and I think I'm gonna go on and replace gear box, rear shocks, and buy the cross member to add a bearing on the gear box main shaft then time for new tires.....over the next few weeks I'm installing shocks tomorrow. IMA try to use my fiancés laptop to post pics for you guys to see my progress.
