Stereo works intermittently

I'm with you on rewiring the speakers. I'd love to do that but I need the truck everyday right now and don't really have the time to get that done. On another note, stereo now works when the truck is cold as long as I'm bumping the seat forward or backward. Seems like the change in voltage from actuating the motors is making whatever relay behind the dash make contact and energize that circuit for the speakers

Since we got some time at home decided to try and diagnose the stereo not working again. Found this little relay looking bit with some copper windings behind the dash, it's what clicks on and off when the stereo turns on and off. I'm thinking it's part of the amp trigger for the original infinity system in this truck. Is there any way to bypass this?04a17a78e33c0ca398a8ec2f8f967b8c.jpg
