screw the fan save up and buy dirtydodge's paxton novi supercharger. 2700 bucks. he also has 224 cams for ya. That would be a nice little set up for ya.

I thought you were going the FI route with your truck oe. What ever happened with that?

If it is a taurus fan you can go advance or your prefered store and buy a replacement fan with a lifetime warranty. I didn't think about this when I bought my aftermarket fan. But if I was to do it again I would use a OEM fan for that reason. Good luck...

No problem we like users who search, yes that's the fan I used I went the cheap route and got a used one from the pick n pull, big mistake at least buy a new one even if you choose eBay, I'll be buying a new one shortly as it was and is a great mod

I think you can get a new motor at autozone for like $80 and it has a lifetime warranty so if it ever breaks again you get a new one for free

Jay, did ya ever get your efan fixed? been looking at the pictures on advanced auto's site for the last three or four days trying to figure out why their assembly only has two wires on it. even went to the dorman's (fan manufacturer's) site and looked at their pic, same thing only two wires. looked em up on ebay and the ones that i found on there has three wires. link below is to advanced, if you look at the replacement motors, they have three wires. needless to say i confused. also, what controller did you end up going with? can't tell from the pics in the other thread when you installed if it's the one from AA or not.

fan on ebay that shows three wires on motor

The older fans used three wires- high, low, ground. The new one just use a hot and a ground because the speed is controlled by varying the voltage. You need to find a motor for an older style fan.

ok just wanted to be sure. weird that the fans they sell have two wires and the replacement motors have three. would be awesome if that made sense.
