Here’s my official write up. This write up is for a 2015-2017 as I have not been able to confirm the wiring or canbus signal is the same on other 4th gens. When you order the module you must specifically tell them it is for a ram truck. It will operate the 4th gen pentastar fan as well. They both share the same blade design but I believe the 5th gen fan motor is a higher wattage. This is not the heavy tow package fan or ecodiesel fan. Those are not a confirmed fit. You will need some automotive wiring, zip ties, solder or wire taps (soldering is recommended for a solid connection), electrical tape, and some heat shrink butt splices to extend the wires as needed.
Pwm module
Fan harness
Fan harness wires directly to the battery. Has an inline fuse already.

I installed the pwm module behind the radio and ran the canbus wires down into the passenger footwell to the star canbus. I soldered the connection on mine.

Your brown with white tracer is the can high from the pcm and the paired yellow will be your can low.

For power to the module I used a fuse tap from fuse 78 which is the ecm fuse and used the ground connection right next to the battery. You have to use the ecm fuse slot as that is the only fuse slot in the tipm that is powered on with the engine. If you use the accessory fuse slot it does not energize with engine on, it is a key on powered slot which will not work with remote start. I already have a grommet through my firewall from a previous project using the clutch hole plate. You will also need to run the pwm signal wire through the grommet as well.
