For a few days now ive been getting a feeling in the break pedal as I'm coming to a complete stop almost like when your break pads are worn out and it's metal on metal. I don't feel it at a high speed only when the truck is almost at a dead stop. Could it be a bearing, axle, etc?

i had that same exact feeling upon breaking. i also had some "shifting" feelings on turns. i got under the truck and started tightening things. there were a few bolts that weren't totally tight. i then came to what i think are called bushings, and they had really loosened. i am really not knowledgeable of all these part names. they were these black rubber pieces that that had bolts to them that you see and get to from over the front tire. sorry if that doesn't make sense. i can take a picture for you later if you need me to. anyways... after all that, i didn't feel anything funny anymore at all. my hunch is that the break thing was due to how loose those were on both front drive/passenger side. nevertheless, it stopped after re-tightening everything.

Well I thought that it was my front passenger brake rotor since I notced two grooves. Took it apart and It checked the pads and it all seems ok. So I drove the truck and i only get that feeling when it's between 10-20mph whether it's coming to a complete stop or coasting it without stepping on the gas. Anything above 20mph or below 10mph it's smooth as glass. I'll prob be taking her in o. Monday to the dealer and see what they find. Hopefully the don't say it because of my lift.

Depending on the tires size you added, 33, 35, 37's, it could be that your front rubber brake lines are expanding under the stress of the bigger tires. I had a big body blazer that did about the same thing. Try some steel braided brake lines. They are worth every penny!!!

i have seen the front strut replacement lift from skyjacker installed improperly aabd cause the front axle shafts to bind because it go too much lift. the 4" and bigger kits work differently so it would probably not be an issue

I'd look into tire wear (cupping) for the noise...or with mine it was wheel bearings. Did both sides at about 150k. Jack up each corner and spin em and shake em...you'll know if they are bad.

The angles on my axles are at stock level. No binding at all

Yea i gotta do that tomorrow morning. It's really beginning to bug the hell outta me. It only does it between 10-20 mph whether I'm slowing or speeding up. After or before that its normal. :Frustrated:

I think mine may do the same thing, after the lift I'll occasionally get a "traction control gear grinding" sound while turning and stopping. And i do feel I'm the brake pedal also

checked the kit out and it looks pretty much the same as a bds lift. we have done a few of them and have not had any issues. if it were me i would nut and bolt everything and then drive it again. if the noise is still there call them and see if there is any common mistakes made during the istallation process that they are aware of. believe me they want you to be happy with their product

I took it in to the dealer and they said not to worry its my tires. I'm going to see if can borrow a set of stock wheels and tires to rule that out. It only happens between 10-20 mph either slowing down, coasting, or speeding up.
