Hi,

The little plug on both sun visors keep falling out. It's 2022 Bighorn. I took a picture. I can shove it back in, but eventually it comes back out. I'm looking for a fix. I read other treads about this, and it seemed to be a dealer fix with a complete sun visor replacement. I'm at 72K miles, so out of warranty.

I'm thinking about a drop or two of super glue or a little tape around the plug to make is a little wider. Any ideas?

Thanks,
David

Sounds like a plan. I'd start with electrical tape and see if it holds (heat in that area may make it fail again though). I'd stay away from super glue though (hard to undo).

Try using heat shrink tubing , you can add layers until it is snug ,to your satisfaction.

This should make for a clean and fairly permanent repair. You may even find it available in different colors.
I'll see about that. I'd have to slice the tube to fit around the plug. There is a wire in there, so I can't fit it over the plug. But I do like that idea. Thanks!

I recently installed one of these Amazon brackets to fix my passenger side visor. Worked like a champ. Took about 3 minutes to install.
