I just bought a SuperchipI tuner for my 01 ram 1500. Has anyone set there tune to mileage xs? How many mile per gallon more you getting ?

I to am curious to this. I have an 02 w/ 5.9 and have been hesitant to buy a tuner because i cant do the trans tune and dont know if its worth the price without it. Hate to buy one and be disappointed.

I ran the 87 octane mileage tune, but got better mileage running the 91 Performance tune, plus I feel the truck drives better.

X2 but gas is too high to use 91 tune lol

It basically evens itself out in price, so thats why Im using the 91 tune. It runs so much better with it

So its .20 higher in gas thats around an extra $5 in gas. But when the tank of gas lasts longer it evens out.

True. I use 91 Octane either way. I know gas is expensive but I like to baby the motor.
