Swapping Grill Inserts

Has anyone swapped out there grill inserts for a billet grille? Was looking at doing it but don't know how it would look.

THats the whole grille not just the inserts. And my opinion the Stock grills are what make the Rams and their aggressive look.

I swapped out the black mesh inserts for the Sport chrome inserts.
IMO it adds a nice amount of chrome without being over done.

I went the other way on mine 69. Sports are a dime a dozen in Alberta,so I swapped my Sport inserts for the Honey Comb inserts,lol

I also think the grill inserts should not just be thrown in just any truck like FCA does..lol
I think the chrome looks good only with certain colors, like I would not want the chrome inserts on a black truck with black wheels.
Its one thing you can do to customize your truck for the look you want, its nice to have this option.

Same here, with a chrome surround i thought it was too much with shiny inserts. Plus I wanted to add pods behind the grill

I also found mine to run slightly cooler at 70+mph with the honey comb inserts,as I think they let more air flow through to the rad at freeway speeds.
