Ok so my dad just bought an 07 QCLB 3500 single real wheel and the center has 2 places where somebody had something stuck to the dash. One place on the silver part, and one place on the textured bottom surround. He likes the woodgrain better, but I think hydrodipping may be cheaper to achieve the desired result. And can you even get the bezel off of the lower surround without breaking it? What would you do?

Use some goof off on it and remove the adhesive. To hydro dip it you need it as clean as possible to have it adhere.

I haven't tried goof off but i can. Used some 3m adhesive remover and it didn't budge. Its not soft at all, almost like hot glue thats really hard.

Thanks MegaMouse, also discovered only one bulb is burning behind the heat & air controls, so that panel has to come out anyway.

Just ordered a Laramie version with the woodgrain and satin silver lower surround. Is the satin on that piece the same as the regular satin that is in there now? I would think it would be. If so, The door pieces will match and we wouldn't have to swap the woodgrain into the doors

TTT. I've got the wood grain bezel around my radio as well. How do I get that piece off? I tried the mentioned "link" but it does not work. I thought about "wrapping" the bezel as well, since I painted the door pieces already. Any help would be great!
