Anyone know what the switch or button is for on the infinity reference speakers? I can't find anything online so I'm guessing this is just common knowledge. On the front set I have which is 6502ix there is a button between db and some other thing don't remember. And in the back doors I have 5032cf which has a switch for the same purpose but what is the difference in sound?

I think it's supposed to add a little bit of bass

I don't have a button. Where is yours, do you have a picture?

I might have to take door panels off I guess and just listen to the difference. Here are the best pics I have:
The rear speakers with the switch:

The front speakers with button:

I don't remember seeing those on mine last time I took the panels off; might have to look when I get home next month.

Doesn't effect the bass, just the high end. If it was off, the bass would be more prevalent but not more of it. Boosting the high end would cause it to cover up more of the bass so to speak.

Okay so +3db allows for more bass to play through the speakers and more high range through the tweeters or the other way around?
