Tailgate protector

Anybody have a tailgate protector that wraps around the outside of the tailgate? My son has a small bit of damage he wants to cover up. Post pics if you have something. I found a deezee, but can't find pics of it installed on a ram.

Here is the damage. Backing up gooseneck on uneven ground in the dark.

I don't know how much it would cover up , but I saw one on a Silverado coming back from NC at Christmas that had integrated brake and turn signals in it. Was kind of cool.

Don't know if you can find one that will cover up the damage you have. I've seen some that cover over the factory plastic lip, but no further down. The DeeZee won't even be close. It just goes down in the "basin" of the factory lip. I have attached a picture of my full cover DeeZee so you can see what I mean. The regular DeeZee just comes down about an inch on the inside of the tailgate but the top part is the same.

Thanks for the input. Looks like we will be dropping the gate off at the body shop

I dropped my tailgate on the crank of my utility trailer. I looked for a big tailgate cap but did not find.

Had it repaired at Maaco for $300. Turned out great. Dealer quoted $800.
