Question... I am picking up a 25 cu. ft. refrigerator. Is the tailgate strong enough to put my ramps on or should I take off the tailgate. Thank-you, Nick

I would think it would handle it with no problem but as easy as it is to take it off I wouldn't risk it.

It should be fine. For over 30 years I've installed built-in appliances including very heavy double ovens, and I've also pushed refrigerators up over my tailgates. In fact often I have heavy appliances sitting on the tailgates and strapped in. Just make sure to carry the refrigerator upright. If you do lay it down to transport you should stand it upright for at least a day before you plug it in, so the compressor oil can go back to where it belongs.

what is the weight of the fridge? my tailgate on my 2020 Ram power wagon does not give me much confidence. Heck the floor in the bed of the truck flexes under my 200lbs.

Unfortunately retired, I have noticed that too. Decided to go with delivery. Thank-you for the responses, Nick
