Taillights don't fit

I have a 2003 8' long bed from a 1500 that I'm planning to use on a 2007 2500 truck and was planning to use the factory 2500 taillights. The alignment pins are different than the lights from the 2003. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That's because the housings are shaped different. You will have to do some customizing.

it looks like the light would fit if the alignment pins were removed. Or I could use the 2003 lights could someone provide the correct wiring needed to wire the 2003 taillights to the 2007 harness? thanks

Can anyone provide some electrical advice on how to make the early 3rd gen taillights work with the 2007 chassis harness? Thanks
