So after months of looking for the right truck to replace my hemi I finally found a new truck.

It is a 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 CTD
6spd manual
4x4
3.73's with an lsd in the rear.

Driving up to school this evening I was pulling 23 mpg.

For now I only have a crummy cell phone picture, i'll try to get some new pictures this week.

You mean you weren't deterred by the temporary fuel price increase? Colton and jeff came here in Jeff s 06 mega ctd and I fell in love driving it.the only thing missing wheels and a drop

Was bought new at the same dealer I bought it from.
Original owner traded in on a new unit. The truck has been very, very well maintained maintenance wise. but pretty well neglected cosmetically. The paint needs to meet the buffer for the first time in its life, and a few minor dents pulled. Interior is flawless, other than the center console arm rest has a melted spot in it- like the previous owner set a spotlight down on it or something.

I'd like to get a whole new center console for it with the "hidden" storage underneith.

I just drove 190 miles and used under 1/4 tank of fuel. Didn't have to get out of 6th gear once pulling the hills through the mountains; boy was that different than the old hemi!

No, the increase in fuel prices doesn't really frighten me. It can go up to $5/gal and i'll still be spending less than my old setup.

Pics to come!

Man I bet thing is a beast with that drivetrain but a RC. Any plans for it? I know my dad (finally) put a full exhaust setup and tuner on his '08 F250 and saw an almost unbelievable increase in full mileage and power.
