Pretty damn frustrated.. bought my ‘18 1500 brand new in August 2018 so that I wouldn’t have to deal with this crap..
It had a vibration over 60 when I test drove it new and I figured it would be something simple like balancing the tires. It’s now been back to the dealer 4 times (the fifth time right now) over various visits they’ve balanced, rotated and replaced tires. It now has had all tires replaced been balanced many many times, road force, checked the drive shafts, suspension rims etc...
It had the issue with the factory rims and I’ve since put aftermarket rims on it and the problem is no better, of course I had the dealer put the rims on to avoid and finger pointing as to who messed it up..
A few months ago added aftermarket steel bumpers and on this visit they hinted that because of the additional weight that it could “jeopardize the warranty” [emoji15]
I’ve engaged FCA but I’ve not seen much of anything in the way of progress and it’s been there since 7am Friday..
Not sure what’s next!
