I have this weird vibration and occasional high pitch “squeak” at 70+ mph. It’s been happening for a while and the dealer has taken 2 shots at it. I could literally run it wide open on highway and not a single vibration.

They did a few things:

Replaced from diff as it had play.
Replaced both axels.
Replaced sway bar links.
New alignment.
All 4 tires balanced.

It’s better, but not 100% yet.

Up front I run Icon UCA (recently greased), Bilstein 6112, 18” rims 0 offset and MT ATs.

Were they road-force balanced?
Does the vibration come from the front or rear? Try swapping the tires front to rear if so.

Does the truck have a carrier bearing? It's not a common failure but they sometimes start to wobble slightly in the housing.

I do not believe they do road force balancing, but will check since service manger is a good friend.

These trucks don’t have a carrier bearing, forgot to mention, 21 Ram Rebel 1500.

I feel the vibration in the steering wheel, so I assume it’s in the front. At times I feel like I “feel” it in the pedal but had brakes checked and they are good.

The tires were rotated when then just got balanced.

Some of the Gen4 and Gen5 CrewCab w/6.4' bed are built with them.

Might be worth taking the truck to a shop that does road-force balancing. There have been a few posts over the years where it fixed higher speed vibrations. Some found out the tire(s) were out of round or too far out of balance.

Appreciate that. Spoke to my body since you first mentioned it and he can do it. He isn’t sure if the mechanic did and will find out for me on Monday. Appreciate the idea!

road force, wheel bearings and ball joints. Since it is a squeak which isn't rotational, I'd look at ball joints, look on how you can diagnose easy. Is it a rotational squeak or non rotational squeak? Is it constant?

It is not constant it happens when I hit a bump in the road while driving. Happening more and more often. Also occasional thump going over larger bumps in the road. Hard to explain.

could be a shock getting weak, most shacks are gas charged nowadays. It hasn't lost enough to stop the larger oscillations but the finer ones will vibrate more.
Try lowering the air pressure in your tires by five psi or possibly more if they're inflated over the door plate rating.

I will try the 5 psi and see if anything changes.

As for the shock, I am running a 6112 and am debating on the next setup once I figure out the vibration.

No, I only did the UCAs with Icons. I did the setup at about 45k and am currently at 83k.

The rear look ok, but I am planning on replacing the rear arms with Core 4x4 ones when I redo the suspension.

The reason I asked is my strut bushings would almost vibrate me off the road, when I'd hit an overpass at speed. When I did the level I replaced the bushings, and later replaced the LCAs to replace the ball joint for alignment reasons.

My rear control arm bushings would klunk with a hard solid feel in the steering wheel offroad. (Replaced with 7 piece core 4x4 trail series)

The clunk for me is upfront, but sounds like the lower control arms and ball joint quite possibly be the issue. At least it’s worth investigating… thank you
