Only making a 1,000 of them,500 narrow bodies and 500 wide body versions. It looks like it'll have alot of the goodies off the 1320 Challengers. The dealer mark-up's will probably be stupid though.

The SuperBee was always just a minor upgrade package. It was never a HP upgrade over standard offerings in other models.

This one sounds like it'll have a few of the 1320's toys on it. I'm guessing it'll have the 1320's higher stall convertor, and use the same upgraded shift mapping in the 8 speed, along with the same active damper programing the 1320's and Demons have. I also wonder if it'll have less body insulation like the 1320's have, which will make it slightly lighter then a standard Charger. Took them long enough to clone a 1320 Challengers goodies onto a Charger though,i think they should of released this version back in 2019 when they released the 1320 Challenger, they would of sold a pile of them by now.I know if this version of the SuperBee was available back when we bought our 1320 Challenger i would of been all over it,instead of buying the Challenger 1320,lol

AT least it isn't a 4 door haha I was sold on that!

Those would be some nice package additions.

I just can't get on board with the wide body look - on either platform.
Which is sort of ironic since I have the stock fender flares on my truck and prefer that look on the truck :)

If they use the same springs as they use on the 1320's and Demons,it'll definitely have a nicer ride then a normal Scatpack Charger has, lol. The wifes old 2016 Challenger rode like a D8 Cat in comparision to her 1320. Her old Challenger would definitely beat you up on a 500 mile drive compared to her 1320. The only thing i miss off her old Challenger is the Shaker Hood, loved looking at it out of the drivers seat, lol.

IIRC, the 69 super bee had the 383 engine. Other models had the 440 with 390 hp.
Also the hemi, but they were the standard engines - 383 magnum was the same as any 383 magnum, 440-6 was same as any 440-6, etc.
Wasn't any special heads or anything is what I meant or anything special that a Coronet, Charger, GTX, Satellite, etc couldn't get.

Had a friend who had bought a 68 Coronet off an older couple. That puppy had the Stock 440 magnum with a 3/4 cam, so always held a lousy idle, but is was a beast considering the year and natural aspiration. PUT you back in the seat every time. had that long curved automatic transmission shifter in the floor with the button on it, anybody remember those gems? lol.
