theft protection btsi bypass?

Hello, first post here. Has anyone installed a switch in the BTSI connector to stop the truck from being put into gear? This would allow a remote start but not allow vehicle being put into gear. Stellantis has a tech bulletin but states that it will not work on the trans in a ram 1500 3.6l. For anti theft purposes shoud the fob code be stolen and truck started, they would not be able to put it into gear. Thoughts? thx!
