Gawd damn, anyone care to inform me about a replacement for these nasty screws that hold the wheel liner to fender please?

I am interested in swapping those out for some sort nylon self tappers or rivnuts or whatever they are called here, most cars this side of the century tend to use them these days LOL. Reason being is, once you remove those, hold a spotlight to the hole, you will see on some paint removed around the edge of the fender hole. Thus now an ideal scenario for rusty wheel arches in the near future.

I was test fitting my fender flares earlier, of course it took me like 2 hours just to test fit one rear fender flare. Three more to go! Mind you, I am also removing the Duraflap mudflaps as well, looks like the front duraflaps wont work with the new fender flares. As the Duraflaps require the RAM factory fitted corner spat to tuck into . Will tackle issue that later..

Go to a hardware store and pick up some of those nylon push in deals you described. They are pretty cheap and most places that sell individual screws, bolts, etc should have them.

I have never looked at the long screws. I would take one out and take it in with you and get one around the same diameter. Or ask to take some different ones out to the truck and see what would be a good fit. Around here they have no issues with that.

I think the front ones are shorter also.
I guess if I change to push clips then one has to also remove the nursert or whatever that metal.clip that the screw threads into.
