Thoughts on having wheels painted?

For years now I haven't been able to find a set of wheels I like with the exception of super expensive stuff. I find a lot of styles I like but they are always in black.

So... my truck is a two tone red and grey and I've had this idea of buying wheels with a simulated headlock and having everything but the beadlock painted grey to match my truck.

Thoughts?

Reminds me of a former YJ I raised from the dead and modded. The 5 spoke wheels matched the grey cladding and the lip was just machined. I liked he look of the color match. I think Ultra Motorsports makes a simulated beadlock wheel with a graphite interior. The lip is machined....might be similar to the look your after. Maybe....
