So, over the winter, I am planning to add another 8" of lift to the truck. Looking to run 37-40" tires. I like the wheels I have now, as they are color matched, but I think It's time for a change.

Do you guys think I can pull off running a 22 or 24" wheel, with a larger lift and bigger tires? I was looking at this new company:

BMF Wheels

I like their designs. I am just tired of the KMC fay boy Rock stars..which is why I didn't get them the last time.

I'd keep the wheels and tires I have now, and just put the "other ones" on for shows. Idk if I have seen a 3rd gen with 24's and big ass tires.

go with bigger gears before you upgrade your tires. otherwise you'll be gettin a new tranny too. seriously.

on that note, the biggest i'd go is 22's on 40's. that'll still give you roughly 9" treadwall (17" wheel w/ 35" also have 9" for comparison).

I don't see how in the hell you're running stock gears NOW, much less with some damn 40's under it. That poor ol 4-7, you're really trying to put its **** in the dirt aint ya? Haha. Please tell me your stockers are 3.92s and not 3.55s?

As far as rims go, I like the Boss line. I was really really really wanting the Boss 335's, in black. But I couldn't put up the whole dime, so I backed out.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I personally say you should leave that beast alone cosmetically, and dump a CTD in that *****, THEN you won't be losing any shows to them da gon 2nd gens ;)

Before I swap wheels and tires, I will upgrade the gears. I have 3.92's now.

Those are some nice wheels man....any of 'em will look good on your truck. But like everyone else has said. You've got to do gears first and foremost.

the bmf wheels are alright but they are just a copy of the whole RBP stuff I think...$1800 for a grille???

The SOTA looks good to me, but RBP sells some rims I like also and I think a little more unique

And Cowboy, you nailed what I was already searching for...his tire/wheel combo looks great and I think the less sidewall the better looking (maybe not better performing)
