I went with a 275/65 on my stock 20 inch rims. They are 34’s but I’m happy with the look on my leveled truck. Personally I think your truck looks good the way it is.

I've got LT295/65R20's (equivalent to 35's) on my stock rims for my summer set up.

I am rolling on Bilstein 5100's with the fronts set to 2.1" raised and using the stock springs all around and the stock front UCA's, too.

I am running stock 20" tire size Cooper Discovers AT3 XLT's, but when I get new tires I am probably going to go with 35x11.5/R20's. I have leveling kit on front which I am swapping for Rough Country 2" loaded struts which should be same height I am at now.

I have 35x12.50s on mine with no issues. Well, not on the wheel. I did put 1/2" spacers on because I determined that I would run into the UCA by about 1/8" or so. May not have needed them but I like the end resulting stance between the tire width and spacers.

You "can" mount basically any width tire on any width wheel. Should you mount "x tire" with "y wheel width" is a whole other debate. With the handling be affected? Load capacity? Clearances? Looks? All case by case basis. The 9"width can handle anything from somewhere near a 205mm up to 18.50" wide tires.

Size is determined by rim diameter, section width and height/width aspect ratio. You can do the math, or use one of the many available Tire Size Calculators found on the web.

I was in the tire shop last week switching wheels around for winter, and there was a kid in there wanting some stupid set up, I guess and the manger would not do it.
I was not close enough to know the details, maybe a Honda guy?

Perhaps was wanting "stretched" tires:

Load rating with these tires in non-existent and can be dangerous. Many tire shops will refuse to mount tires like this. Car guys are weird.

I've got a 2022 PW and I'm changing the tires tomorrow to 35x12.5 R17 KO2's. hoping not to have any issues with them. I've seen people on here do it with no problems, so we will see!

I have a 2017 3500 4WD on stock rims. I previously had a set of LT325/60R20 BFG KO2 which are 35”s but they rubbed on the front when I turned too much. I should have purchased a 1/2 inch spacer but I just limited my turning to 1/4 less turn. I had plenty of clearance in the rear. I now have a set of LT295/65R20 which are also 35”s and they all fit perfectly. Both sets are E rated. Also, the Spare Tire is a BFG 35x12.50R18LT and it was tight but it also fit into the spare tire well….

Shop's smart with liability worries if something happens to the truck.

CJC Offroad has a sale going on for Dodge specific Method's. 18's will ride better. Not a much **** appeal but they are designed for our trucks.

Not just car guys id say...What about the truck guys that jack a truck up then lower the *** end?
I literally witnessed the other day ..a fella that looked like he had a 6"lift with the rear-end sitting about an inch off of a tire(exaggerated but you get the idea)with about a 3"side wall....stiff riding on every bump, lights pointed to the sky.Stupidest thing thing ive seen in awhile here.Must be a cool thing to do?????
Iam not a fan of inspections(they went away here in fla)but this would be a case where sumthing should be done or just flat out deemed illegal......those dam headlights blind a person bad coming towards ya.
Down here(my county anyways)tires can't stick out more than a couple inches(i believe) past the fender/panel...There are people running around with at least a foot or more I'd say, none of the tire is under the truck!
Big rims, couple inches of sidewall, lifted to the moon, pointed to the sky.Never enforced that I can see.

I think most state laws say there can be no more than 2" of tread out past the fender. It's to stop rocks from being thrown at everyone behind you.

I think that meets the definition of "no more than 2-inches". :smoke2:
Same for PA, you can technically only extend them out 2 inches, but only if fender flares are 2 inch flares. Pa says you cannot have fender flares that stick out more than 2 inches. I have seen tires and fender flares everywhere here that are well beyond so it must not be strictly enforced here.
