TMR Mod

So I've been reading up on this thing called the TMR mod and basically what it does, is that it eliminates the transmission to ask the TC for permission basically to have the torque it wants and my foot wants. I did this today and i can definitely tell a difference, it shifts quicker and harder from 1-2 and 2-3 on WOT. I didn't cut the wire, dust unplugged it so i could just re plug it in if in I think i screwed something up.
What do you think?

Yep, And the only year you can attach the line pressure boost resistor that comes with the Transgo HD Shift Kit when used with superchips eliminating the need for a sonnax, works for me anyways and 260,000 KM and going strong...Welcome to RF.

mine is an 03 so I'm good there. And im thinking about the line pressure booster, but if I buy the transgo shift kit do I need to have a superchips tune on there or do I need to install a tune? I'm just wondering because my dad hates tuners because he apparently almost wrecked his old truck's system with it.

No don,t need the superchips, just folloe the transgo instructions. Those instructions just state if you have a tuner not to install the resistor, but thats for 04 and up as there is no tuner that cares about or does anything to improve the shifting on an 03. You can still do a sonnax on its own or with the shift kit but the shift kit resistor does the job, just snip a wire on the pass side plug and tape or solder it in as per the instructions.

The Sc3865 would not hurt anything, but the Predator on an 03 is not always freindly as has been known to cause problems on an 03. The Sc3714 stay away from too!

No My DAD almost wrecked his system back then... I think it was in his old Durango.. And THANKS
I am definitely going to add some items to my Christmas List now
Also i was driving back from school today and noticed a huge mount of wheel spin off the line out of a red light or like a stop sign! Definitely impressed by the FREE mod!
