To Chrome or not to chrome

So still kinda new to RF but have been reading yall for a good bit. Just got a 4th gen and am looking for some opinions on something to go chrome or black on it.

My wife says to go with Black (Like on nerf bars)

Ok so on that does anyone know of any good deals on a set of black nerfs for a CC. Just put on a soft top, going to put a camper shell on later so i don't need wheel to wheel. Local is 199+tax

The fact that you're 62 might show that you aren't up on the times. So to each their own. Ya blacked out wheels are coming in a little, but every young person from here to Alaska wants some form of chromed out non-sense. I agree that a blacked out black truck is overkill, but his is blue. Blue and black will always be a killer combo. Looking at the little bit of truck he has shown us, I'd say either will work, but black would be best. His rims aren't chromed, his handles aren't chromed, and I'm guess his bumpers are color matched or black.

Basically just go through the member albums and look for a truck that resembles your color and see what you like best! Its your truck man, do it up!

My truck wouldn't be half of what it is today if I had just done what others thought was "cool" or "looked good". I love that blue, keep us posted!

do what you want man. some people hate it some people love it. in my opinion any color blacked out looks good if you do it right. to me trucks with lots of chrome just look cheasy

lmao, i'm 44, i have posted 62 times, been a car nut my whole life. you want to black it out go for it, spinners were in too, don't want those either but hey it's your truck.

I'm going with black chrome accents on my truck, but it's white. Ur dark blue truck especially being a sport would pop out and look amazing with chrome. But with black you would have a really clean low profile look. So what do you want your truck to say? Are you mr show up and steal the show or mr. Roll up not be noticed at first but then all of a sudden 100 people are around saying WOW it's clean? Vehicles reflect there owners personaltys. Sorry guys didn't mean to steal the thread.
