You need to put a clear protective film on your truck before adding those style of flaps. I just took mine off yesterday and you can see where they’ve been scratching the paint.
I took mine off to install fender flares but put the clear film on before the flares. Luckily the flares cover up the marks that the mud flaps made.

I just got an Extang tonneau from Nick @ Got Exhaust, a site vendor, and the price and service was great.

I did a Mx4 for about a grand. It's a matte, try folding, pretty secure. You can leave the cover shut and close the tailgate which I've read is a plus. Anyways, not completely waterproof but I've heard not to expect that out of any. As a plus, they are sending me a free BakBox.

TruXedo TruXport soft roll up for $258 shipped. I had one on a 2014 and 2016 F150 and it kept the bed bone dry.

WeatherTech mud flaps are still a few weeks out, so I went with Mopars for $91 shipped. No drilling into the metal, but you do need to drill into the plastic trim under the truck and use an included plastic rivet to secure the bottom. Other than that it uses existing screws to mount it.

Put some black RTV on the paint where it mounts to prevent paint damage. I just sold my F150 and sold the mud flaps separately. WD40 on a rag took off the RTV, paint looks new!

Did you get the BAKBox yet? How did you manage to get them to give it to you free?

I had the Bak flip on my old 13 F150 but decided to go with a rool up on the Ram .
Got a Lund Genesis rool up from Amazon $224.33 total in May this year it was a easy install probaly 30 to 45 minutes and no leaks in our recently daily showers.
Totaly satisfied with the lund especially when i need the whole bed as i did recently.

I like the roll ups and also ended up with a Lund genesis. Nice cover and at the time they had a rebate so ended up being right around $170
