Spend some more money and get a tri-fold hard tonneau cover. I did the same and do not regret it. I have the Undercover Ultra Flex. Easy to install by myself, and affordable at $759.

My vote is for no cover, but to each their own.

I've have a soft top from ACCESS. I had one on my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 and liked it so well that I got a another for my 2011 Ram 2500. I live in the Sierra's and get heavy snow in the winter. I've always been impressed by the strength and quality of the ACCESS tonneau covers. I love easy of access to the full bed and tight fit for keeping water and weather out of the bed. 20181222_135815[1].jpg 20181222_135815[1].jpg

My bakflip cover is pretty much water-tight and i can actually walk on it-to get to the third brake light--i probably should have lifted it instead-but it didnt harm it-I only weigh 150lbs though-so please dont try this at home!!!

The Tyger soft roll-up bed cover didn't break the bank and has been a really good bed cover so far. Got it off Amazon for under $200 and was easy to install.

Photo of the Undercover SE, ended up spending more than I initially planned, but happy with the result, fit and overall functionality 0619191526_HDR.jpg

I have the Truxedo Prox15 which is a low profile roll up style cover and I absolutely love it! It has a matte black canvas as the cover instead of the standard vinyl. It uses high strength Velcro on the sides to secure it and it can be removed in about 3 minutes if need be. It comes with a Lifetime warranty on all parts and the cover and so far has been completely water tight unless going through a car wash. I got it on sale on black Friday for around $450 if I remember correctly.

I'm just gonna say for the price the tyger tri-fold was well worth the money and to remove it and install takes a few minutes...
